Dear Giles & Maggy,

We are overwhelmed with this accolade to such a talented man. Sad that he died so young, with so much more potential. We hail from East Lothian and have been living abroad for many years. Our two daughters have long since flown the coop and are married with children and living in the USA. Now, we are ready to return to Scotland upon Alan's retirement in January. Maggy, you are an increibly strong and talented woman, and you, Giles, have clearly been a great friend to Tim and continue to be a tower of strength to Maggy. We came across the excellent article about Tim's work and home in the November 2005 issue of Beautiful Homes magazine and, as a result, looked at the various websites that relate to Tim, his work and yoursleves. We look forwrd to visiting the workshop when we are next in Scotland - hopefully for good in 2007.

Sincerely yours.

Thank you for publishing this on the internet. My husband just a few moments ago spoke to Maggie oblivious of what happened to Tim as we have been living in the southern hemisphere for the last 17 years. I hope she is able to continue the fabulous work at the studio with her helpers. God bless.
